What are eyelash extensions?
Lash extensions are applied one by one to your natural lashes. They serve to extend and add volume to your lashes.
What should I do beforehand to prepare for my appointment?
Nothing at all! We just ask that you come free of makeup and ready to relax.
How long do they last?
Lash extensions last anywhere from two to six weeks depending on your natural lash shedding schedule. We suggest having a touch-up done every two to three weeks to reapply lashes that have shed.
Can you wear mascara or eye makeup with lash extensions?
Absolutely! Though most find mascara unnecessary. If you choose to wear mascara, use the appropriate mascara specifically designed for eyelash extensions.
Can I do things like go to the gym, swim or take a shower?
Yes, you can do all these things, but it is recommended that you wait 24 hours after application before you get your lashes wet.
Can lash extensions cause damage to your natural lashes?
Damage only occurs if the lashes are not applied properly or if you pull them out yourself. It's important that you have them applied by a certified lash artist.
How are extensions removed?
They grow naturally and gradually, but if you decide that you do not want them any longer, contact us and we'll easily remove them without damaging your natural eyelashes.
What are some general do's and don'ts while wearing them?
Only use oil-free products. Avoid pulling or tugging the lash extensions. Gently comb through them with an eyelash brush if they get out of place. We do not recommend waterproof makeup due to the excessive scrubbing needed to remove the makeup. This could damage the adhesive.
